This paper was written for the class "Basic Editing Skills." It is directed to those who are interested in editing and is a response to the following prompt: "Do you think you can become a good editor? Why or why not? Explain your answer in terms of what you think a good editor is. Discuss specific elements of editing that you do or do not enjoy and that match or do not match your skills and personality.
